He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Edyrl and Alice Evelyn Dowler (Kimble); and his brother Douglas Dowler. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lynn Dowler (Layner); his daughters, Angela, Mandy Dowler and Nichol Dillon; his grandchildren, Ryan Hamrick, Dylan Dowler, Trenton Dowler, Tiffani Davis, Hailee Miller and Alivia Dowler; his siblings, William Dowler (Ruby) and Wilda Edman (Rick); and his close friend Tim Cross. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
