He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Thompson and Elsie Buchanan Thompson; his wife Betty Spessert Thompson; and his siblings, Kenneth Thompson and Ruth Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, David Thompson (Fran) and Lois Thompson; his grandson Eric Thompson (Jennifer); his great grandchild Carter Thompson; his siblings, Howard Thompson (Sharon), Lorena Belt (Oliver) and Shirley Joann Wigal (Jim); and his sister-in-law Mae Thompson. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkview Methodist Church and/or the American Cancer Society are requested.
