He was predeceased by his parents : Clarence Emmett and Lena Allman Caplinger and his sisters, Kay Hopkins, Faith Monroe, Carolyn Johnston and Beverly Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Charlton Wagoner Caplinger; his children, Woodrow Wagoner, Allison Wagoner, Tonya Kelley, David Caplinger, John Caplinger and Destry Todd; his siblings, Gloria Headley and Sonny Caplinger; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth & Marshall Wagoner, Kelsey & Jonathan Caplinger, Legarette Densmore, Brayden and Braiden Caplinger.
