He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cooper and Hazel Cooper of Pettyville, WV.; his wife Marion Lou Cooper; and his siblings, Robert Derwood "Herky" Cooper and Joann McCord.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carmen Dowler of Parkersburg and Lori Higgins (Jeff) of Parkersburg; his sister Cheryl Stephens (late John) of Mineral Wells; his stepchildren, Monty Ford (Ellen) of Burgoo, WV and Gibby Ford (Zinash) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Brian Dowler (Rebecca) of Delaware, OH, Sara Schoenlein (Simon) of Parkersburg, Broc Higgins, Aubree, Jaclyn Schoenlein and Emily Dowler; and his caregivers, Cheryl Rowlett, Brittane Earl, Brittney Ashworth, Tonya Taylor and Randy Cantley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jack's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
