He was predeceased by: his father Richard Kennon Carpenter; and his grandparents, Clyde Yarnell, Ken and Irene Carpenter. He is survived by: his mother Linda Friesel Carpenter of Parkersburg; his daughter Raelynn Brinker of Parkersburg; his sister Dyan Carpenter of Pensacola, FL; and his grandmother Helen Yarnell (Mel Brinker) of Parkersburg. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
