He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Grant Eddy and Bernice Virginia Powell (Griffin); his stepfather Howard Leo Harold Powell; and his sister Debra Powell Strickland. He is survived by: his brother Marvin Eddy Jr.; his sister-in-law Kelly Rowan; and his nephews, Beau and Cole Strickland.
