He is survived by: his parents, Judy Davis Tibbs of Parkersburg and Mike Tibbs of Vienna; his sons, Javien of Parkersburg and Tayjaun Tibbs of Parkersburg; his sister April Harris of Charleston; his sibling's children, Jevai Harris, Jaedyn Harris of Charleston and Jeffrey Harris of Charleston; his great-nephew Zaeden Harris of Charleston; his uncle Brian; and his aunt Rachel.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Parkersburg High School (2101 Dudley Ave, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Michael's honor to the Boys & Girls Club of Parkersburg, West Virginia—a cause close to his heart and reflective of his passion for empowering youth.
