She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lopez and Dorothy Lane Lopez; her children, Mike and Melissa Williams; and her son-in-law Herbert Boyles.
She is survived by: her husband Hansford "Jack" Helmick; her children, Danielle Nadeau, Jason Williams and Jessica Richards; her siblings, Mary Lopez and Daniel Lopez; and her caregiver Robin Betts-Sandy. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Homes (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
