She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery G. Boyles and Margaret Boyles of Ritchie County, WV; and her siblings, Ellis Boyles of St. Marys, WV, Donna Lee Clouse of Kansas City, MO and Barbara Adkins of Wayne, WV..
She is survived by: her husband David L. Stephens; her children, David Stephens, Barbara Varner (Steve), Donald Stephens and Joseph Stephens (Sarah); and her sister Margaret Ann Mahaney of Ellenboro, WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
