He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Kirby and Amanda Kirby (Stanley); his wife Betty Jean Blosser Kirby; and his brothers, Junior Dink Kirby and Arthur Pete Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Metz, Donna Sands, Sandra Gwynn, Robert James Kirby, Susan Holland, Bruce Kirby, Tina Kirby and Lisa Straight; and his sister Reba Brett of Columbus. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
