It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E McNicholas (Parkersburg, West Virginia), who passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma McNicholas and Frank McNicholas; his stepdaughter Marcella Breedlove; and his sons-in-law, William Crump and Harry Hammers.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his sister Gayle Rush; his nephew Stephen Rush; his children, Michael (Brenda), Robert (Kelly), Christine Crump and Patricia Hammers; and his stepchildren, Debbie Blimline (Curt), Michael Battin (Sharon) and Timothy Battin (Sasha). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
