With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Naomi Smith (Parkersburg, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Marguerite (Johnson) and Lawrence Earl McClure; her husband Banks; her sister Margie McClure; and her nephew Bryan Black.

She is survived by: her brother Lawrence McClure Jr.; her daughter Susan Smith; her son-in-law Jim Tamulonis; and her sibling's children, Daniel McClure (Nadyne), Dr. Roger Black (Mary), Doug Benson, Carrie Ptachick and Kim Wingrove (Martin).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruby's memory to the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
