He was predeceased by: his father Albert Gillis. He is survived by: his mother Lessie Miller; his former wife Carolyn Paugh; his children, William Paugh (Hershey), Philip Paugh (Cassie), Ryan Paugh of Parkersburg and Ashley Smith (Louis) of Parkersburg; his sister Mae "Liz" Gillis (Jimbo) of Parkersburg; and his stepsiblings, James Gillis and Mary Hickel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Housecalls Hospice.
