He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbert Edgar Roy and Jessie George Roy of Virginia; his wife Dolores Jean Davis Roy; his siblings, Eugene Roy, Delbert Dean Roy (Josephine) and Marie Susan Roy; and his great-nephew Benjamin Roy.

He is survived by : his sons, Kevin Roy (Deborah) of Bridgeport and Michael Roy (Sharon) of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Jeremy Roy (Sara), Carolina Roy, Logan Roy (Elizabeth), Hannah Roy and Lilian Roy; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brilynn and Camryn Roy; his sister-in-law Barbara Roy of Parsons; and his nephews, Pat, David, Roy Lee, Bob and Eugene Roy.
