She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Chidester Sr. and Mary Ann Shockey Chidester; and her brothers, Virgil Chidester Jr., Billy Chidester and Leonard Chidester.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Currence; her children, Jimmie Currence (Lenise) of Mill Creek and Bertha Zirkle (Les) of Mabie; her grandchildren, Alisa Currence of Greenbank, Anthony Currence (Mary Beth Smith) of Huntington, Cori Ferry (Donny) of Norton and Leslie Zirkle (Shelby) of Mabie; her great grandchildren, Aleeya Wolfe, Amy Benjamin, Elianna, Eli, Liam Ferry, McKenna, RaeLynn, RieLeigh and Remington Zirkle; and her brothers, Larry Chidester (Diane) of Elkins and Joseph Chidester of Mill Creek.
