He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lipscomb and Cora Helmick Lipscomb; his son Michael Edward Lipscomb; and his siblings, Warren Lipscomb, Harold Lipscomb, Walter "Clifford" Lipscomb, Wayne "Dean" Lipscomb, Margie Tucker, Cleo Vandevender, Vickie Chipps, Ruth Beamer and Virgie Dove.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Doyle Lipscomb (Kate) of Morgantown, John Fitzgerald Lipscomb (Cindy) of Location Road and Pamela Ann Glotfelty (Rick Ashby) of Oakland, MD; and his grandchildren, Eric, Matthew, Sierra, Shane, Willis, Rachel, Matt and Marcy. He is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home - Parsons (312 Main St, Parsons, WV 26287). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
