He was predeceased by: his brother James Delbert Buchanan; his grandparents, Donald, Yvonne Minear and Judith Ann Buchanan; his great-grandparents, Don, Nina Buchanan, Bill, Leah Minear, Allen and Mary Shahan; and his aunt Madonna Burns.
He is survived by: his parents, Harold Lee Buchanan (Teresa Brinegar) of Parsons and Marjorie Ellen Minear of St. George; his sister Elizabeth Ann Buchanan of St. George; his cousins, Andy Minear of St. George, Samantha Gates (Patrick) of Stemple Ridge and Shasta Streets (Brandon) of Parsons; and his uncle Steve Minear (Deanna). He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home - Parsons (312 Main St, Parsons, WV 26287). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at 103 Cemetery Dr, Parsons, WV 26287.
