He is survived by: his wife Sherie Smith (Rustemeyer); his parents, Dale Smith and Karen Smith; his sister Lynn Smith; his siblings-in-law, Jack Kimball and Karen Bell (Thomas); his stepchildren, Debra (Burdette) Steele (Jason) and Dr. Joseph Burdette; his grandchildren, James Moore II, Wyatt Moore (Samantha), Clara (Moore), Sherie'Ann Steele (Donovan Bunner) and Bailey Jo Webb; his great grandchildren, Chase Rea, Oliver Moore, Carmen Rea and Dante Bunner; and his sibling's children, Trish Wince, Josh Kimball, Tiffany Cleveland (Brandon), Josh Witten, Tiffany Gammon (Jeffery), Tiania Bell and Thomas Bell (Sheena).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pennsboro United Methodist Church (601 Main St, Pennsboro, WV 26415). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
