It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Braxton B. Runion of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Braxton departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Braxton may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Braxton leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Max Lynn Runion, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Myra Huffman Runion (Huffman) of Petersburg, WV; his siblings, Myriah Reinhart (Daren) of Shippenville, PA and Braydon Huffman Runion of Petersburg, WV; his half-siblings, Trisha Foltz of Florida and Aaron Runion of Florida; and his nephew Brayson Runion of Petersburg, WV.. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
