It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Curtis E. Sites of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ray Sites and Zola Susan Sites (Crites); his wife Janie Elizabeth Sites (Ours); and his brother Ernest Ray "Sock" Sites. He is survived by: his children, Betty J. Puffenbarger (Art) of Petersburg, WV and Tony C. Sites (Janie) of Beverly, WV; his grandchildren, Joseph Sites, Jaret Sites, Waylon Roden and Lesle Sites Wickline; and his great grandchildren, Shelby Luff, Justin Sites, Bella Sites, Chloe Sites and Wyatt Roden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
