He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Vance and Kate Mallow; his sister Carol Sue Turner (Mallow); and his pets, Bandit, Smokey, Diamond and Harlee.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Mallow (Nelson); his sons, Michael Anthony Mallow (Wendy) of Fredericksburg, VA and Bradley Dice Mallow (Beth) of Petersburg, WV; and his brother Roy Mallow (Judy) of Maysville, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Lahmansville United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society or Charity of Donor's Choice.
