She was predeceased by : her parents, Curtis T. Harman and Violet L. Harman (Kimble); her daughter Patty Lynn Parsons; her grandson Benjamin Franklin Berg II; her great grandchild Caleb Lee Goldizen; her brother Richard Harman; and her sons-in-law, Benjamin F. Berg and Eugene A. Cook.

She is survived by : her husband Paul D. Parsons; her children, Randy Parsons (Melina) of Petersburg, Karen Berg Cook of Maysville, Beverly Tompkins (Jim) of Petersburg and Paula Smith (Todd) of Fairfield, VA; her grandchildren, Kimberly Goldizen (Tim) and Dakota Parsons; her stepgrandchildren, Anna Tompkins, Kenny Tompkins, Curtis Tompkins and Katie Smith Cox; her great grandchildren, Felicia Goldizen, Joshua Goldizen and Mikayla Goldizen; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lucy Garcia and Sunny Tompkins; and her siblings, Donna Fae Snyder of Martinsburg, WV, JoAnn Simmons of Petersburg and Curtis J. Harman of Petersburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Hedrick Chapel United Methodist Church.
