He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Grant VanMeter and Telbie Margaret VanMeter; his son Noah VanMeter; his siblings, Maggie Wratchford, Barbara Sue VanMeter, Terry Jacob VanMeter and Larry Harrison VanMeter; and his brother-in-law Roger Conrad.
He is survived by: his wife Stacy VanMeter (Dolly); his children, Catrina Ray of Huntington, WV, Maria VanMeter (Andre Smith) of Petersburg, WV, Makayla VanMeter of Petersburg, WV, Gracie VanMeter of Petersburg, WV and Ryan Stonestreet; his grandchildren, Leanna Berg, Amari VanMeter, Kinsley Jones, Nevaeh Jones and Taylinn VanMeter; and his siblings, Sandra Jean Moyers (Daniel) of Scherr, WV, Abigail Conrad of Petersburg, WV, Penny Lynn Morral (Richard) of Petersburg, WV and Daniel VanMeter (Angie) of Maysville, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brake Covenant Brethren Church (176 N Mill Creek Rd, Petersburg, WV 26847).
