He is survived by: his girlfriend Nancy Fisher; his stepchildren, Shelby Kuh of Cabins, WV, Barbara Stickley (Brian) of Moorefield, WV, Melissa Earle (Pastor Shannon) of Petersburg, WV and Bobby Sites of Petersburg, WV; his stepson-in-law Brook Hedrick of Petersburg, WV; and his siblings, Maxine Thorn of Winchester, VA, Shirley Crites of Rig, WV, Juanita Harter of Winchester, VA, Carolyn Kesner (Larry) of Petersburg, WV, Phyllis Heavener (Roger) of Petersburg, WV, David Helmick (Sandra) of Winchester, VA and Paul Helmick of Petersburg, WV. He is also survived by thirteen step grandchildren and twenty-one step great-grandchildren.
