He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Julian Evans and Arbutus Mae Evans (Moyers); his wife Gloria Jean Evans (Berg); his daughter Rhonda Evans; his grandchildren, Megan Grace Turner and Joseph Kohl Stumbo; and his siblings, Joan Heavener, Frederick Evans and Dale Evans.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Evans of Jordan Run, WV, Connie Turner (Lysle) of Maysville, WV and Cindy Cole of Martinsburg, WV; his grandchildren, Evan Srout, Lane Turner, Carley Turner, Caylee Turner, Colt Turner, Mikala Cole, Michael Cole and Kearra Cole; his sisters, Linda Jackson (Bruce) of Maysville, WV, Marsha Barger of Jordan Run, WV, Kathy Kerns (Halen) of Cabins, WV and Dreama Kelly (John) of Arthur, WV; his sister-in-law Donna Evans of Maysville, WV; and his close friend Judy Ellifritz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
