She was predeceased by: her parents, E. S. "Mike" Dent and Myrtle Alice Thompson Dent; her husband Oakie; her son Michael C. "Mick" Whitlow; and her siblings, Willie J. Dent, Jean H. Dent, Patsy D. Clyburn and Jack Dent.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Frances Dent; her daughter-in-law C. Jayne Whitlow of Vienna, WV; her granddaughters, Amanda E. Whitlow of Parkersburg, WV and Kathryn M. "Katy" Whitlow of Johnstown, OH; her great-niece Anna Hill; her close friends, Jamie, Rhonda Purdue, Steve, Teresa and Debra; Granger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
