With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothea Williams (Peterstown, West Virginia), who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kent Medley and Nellie Porterfield Medley; and her siblings, Lucille Weikle, Leon Medley, Eugene Medley, Goldie Jones and Pauline Woods.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Allen (Jim) and Linda Ray; and her grandchildren, Aaron Ray (Paula), Alan Ray (Angela), Josh Ray, Logan Ray (Tiffany), Rodney Allen, Peggy, Heather Allen and Kaneetha Davis (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
