The memory of Harry Wayne Chandler (Peterstown, West Virginia), who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert Chandler and Beulah Martin Chandler; and his former wife Judy L. Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Nelson Chandler; his children, Steven B. Chandler (Cindy) of Pearisburg, VA and Shelia R. Chandler (Joe) of Princeton, WV; his stepchildren, Kerry E. Hamblin and Gary A. Hamblin; his stepgrandson Greg A. Hamblin; and his siblings, Albert Lloyd Chandler and Irma Sue Wall of Bozoo, WV. He is also survived by his special friends, the DQ Breakfast Gang; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Peterstown Christian Church (PO Box 535, Peterstown, WV 24963) or to your local humane society.
