With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeffrey Shorter of Peterstown, West Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Lula Katherine Shorter Jones; and his grandparents, Ennis and Myrtle Shorter. He is survived by: his close friend Nita Thomas of Peterstown, WV; his siblings, Floyd Shorter (Brenda) of Peterstown, WV and Donna Shaver (David) of Peterstown, WV; his stepchildren, Katelyn Canterbury, Payton Shrader and Mason Shrader; his nephews, Nathan Shorter (Tanya) and Robbie Shorter; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lyla, Kyler, Aba-Gail and Able; his uncle Jim Shorter (Linda); and his stepfather Robert Alton Jones.
