She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Wright and Millie Mullins Wright; and her brothers, Luther Wright and Andrew Wright. She is survived by: her sons, Leonard Blankenship of Lindside, WV and Edgar Blankenship (Freda) of Ballard, WV.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Polly's home church, Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church (PO Box 142, Lindside, WV 24951).
