He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wertman (Leatherman) of Peterstown, WV; his daughter Ronda Wertman; his grandson Ian Burns of Keyser, WV; his brother Doug Wertman (Anne) of Mechanicsville, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Pratt of Keyser, WV and Evelyn Machosky of Uniontown, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends and neighbors who became his extended family.
