It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Dale Dickens Sr. of Peytona, West Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Phyllis Ann Earls Dickens; his parents, Harvey Dickens and Elizabeth Brown Dickens; his siblings, Joyce Muthart, Willis David "Smokey" Dickens Sr. and Faye Sadlin; and his granddaughter Erica Tucker.

He is survived by : his children, Sheila Feathers of Peytona, Sherry Dickens of Peytona, Ray Dickens Jr. (Trish) of Nitro and Zane Dickens (Kendall) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Christopher Pierce, Jasmine Tucker (Eric), Haley Dickens, Gabriel Dickens, Jacob Miller (Alexis), Hannah Dickens, Cassie Pierce and Sara Estep (Thomas) of Peytona; his siblings, Zola McGriff and Roger Dickens (Karen); and his close friend Bonnie Oaf. He is also survived by his daughter, twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Toneys Branch Freewill Baptist Church (969 Co Hwy 3/02, Bloomingrose, WV 25024). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
