Amy Boyles Obituary
Amy Lynn Boyles, age 47, a resident of Philippi, West Virginia, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Davis Medical Center. She had been in declining health however her death was sudden and unexpected.
She was born on September 4, 1976, in Philippi, West Virginia, a cherished daughter of Jeffrey Lynn Boyles and Shiela Fay (Mouser) Boyles.
Amy leaves behind a brother, Jeffrey Scott Boyles of Philippi; aunts, Rhonda Jones and husband Ron Jones of Belington, Heather Bowen, and husband Joe Bowen of Philippi; uncle, Terry Glenn Boyles, and wife Kathy Boyles of Teays Valley; K-9 companions, Pepper and Tippie. Amy's tender love and unwavering support for her family were the pillars of her existence, bringing them immeasurable comfort and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James Howard Mouser and Louise Mouser, paternal grandparents, Edward Boyd Boyles, and Carol Emogene Boyles.
Amy attended the schools of Barbour County and was visited by Pastor Bryan Headley of the Silent Grove Church. She enjoyed listening to children's songs as well as Christian music, she loved to sit on the floor and play with her beach ball. She also loved to swing on the porch with her grandma Louise.
Amy will forever be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature. She always found strength and brought joy to those around her. Her warm smile and generous heart were a testament to her unwavering spirit.
Amy's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. In this time of profound loss, may we find solace in the cherished moments shared and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Amy's beautiful life from 11 am until 1 pm on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave. Philippi, WV. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating and interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery near Philippi.
