With sadness, we share the passing of Edgar Brown of Philippi, West Virginia. Edgar passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Brown and Daisy V. Brown (Scott). He is survived by: his wife Doretta Brown; his son Patrick Wayne Brown (Nora); his grandchildren, Andrew Brown, Caitlin Brown and Paige Preston; his daughter Melissa Kay Miller (Scott); his stepgrandchild Mikey Miller; his pet Goose; and his siblings, Frederick Brown (Judy), Norma Poling (Ky) and Brenda Smith (late Tony). He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery (2884 Buckhannon Rd, Philippi, WV 26416).
