He is survived by: his wife Pamela June Herbert (Amos); his children, Gene Herbert III of Buckhannon and Vanessa Dean (Randy) of Buckhannon; his stepson Brandon Welch of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Cody Herbert, Alex Dean, Tucker Herbert, Harley Dean and Jillian Dean; his stepgrandson Logan Welch; and his sister Donna Attardo (Robert) of California.
