He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Charlton and Lucy Frances Exline Charlton; and his siblings, Mary Mitter, Ruby Squires, Albert Dempsey Charlton, Clarence "Bill" Charlton and Richard Charlton.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Eugene Wyatt (Lori) and Debra Sue Hamric. He is also survived by several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
