He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howe and Evelyn Glenn Woodford (Ware); and his grandfather Jake. He is survived by: his wife Donnie Marlene Woodford; his children, David (Mary), Bill Woodford (Laura) and Jami Simon (Brian); his stepchildren, Violet Shaw (Pat), Donna Behan (Peggy), Scott Wright (Shelia) and Greg Behan (Judy); the mother of his children Mary Kay Hester; his friend Ronda Cross; his grandchildren, Drew Woodford (Ally), Megan Conteh (Paul), Katie Woodford, Carrie Woodford, Jackie Woodford, Ethan Simon and Ella Simon; his stepgrandchildren, Nathaniel Wright (Kelly), Kaitlyn Wright (Chris), JC Musgrave, Drew Musgrave, Zach Musgrave, Maia Behan, Luna Behan, Stefanie Lipps (Shane), Stephanie McCarty (Tyler), Tori Waide, Mandy Waide and Andrew Waide; and his pet Callie Jo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Animal Friends of Barbour County PO Box 452 Philippi, WV 26416.
