She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Jerome and Bertha Geneva Jenkins (Burns); her husband Byrel Edward Posey; and her son Eddie Posey. She is survived by: her children, Richard (Beverly Posey) of Buckhannon and Marilyn Posey of Philippi; her grandchildren, Corie Posey (Spencer Powell) of Florida, Uteva Dawn Chesser (Tanner) of Tennessee and Kayle Jo Posey of Century; and her great grandchildren, Aiyana Chesser of Tennessee, Salali Chesser of Tennessee and Riley Chesser of Tennessee.
