She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Winans and Maude Winans; her son Neil Marteney; her grandson John Paul Shaffer; her sons-in-law, Russell Wentz and Bill Mick; and her siblings, Delta Evix, Thurman and Cecil Winans.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Marteney; her children, Willa Stalnaker of Shinnston, Marie Mick of Winfield, Karen Shaffer of Volga, Ellen Wentz of Lost Creek, Steve Marteney of Audra and Bill Martentey (Mary) of Audra; her grandchildren, Frank Stalnaker, Becky Stalnaker, Lisa (Michael McGhee), Angela Mick, Stephanie (Joe Richards), Traci Shaffer and Jason Shaffer (Constance Shaffer); and her great grandchildren, Dorian Stalnaker, Aiden Linger, Corbin, Madison McGhee, Ethan Miller, Samantha Hunter, Cody Mason, Drew, Jenna Richards and Hudson Owen Shaffer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
