Raube Morris McDaniel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raube Morris McDaniel of Philippi, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2026 at the age of 88. Though Raube has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Morris McDaniel and Dorothy Maude McDaniel (Phillips); his wife Gladys McDaniel; and his brother Philip McDaniel. He is survived by: his son Paul David McDaniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jack, Madeline and Sam McDaniel; his siblings, Richard McDaniel (Blanche) and Doretta Brown (Edgar); and his sister-in-law Pam McDaniel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, or to the American Legion Post #44, 44 ½ S. Main St. Philippi, WV 26416.
