Scott Lee Mayle Obituary
Scott Lee Mayle, age 70 a resident of Philippi, passed from this life on Friday October 7, 2022, at his home, his death was sudden and unexpected.
He was born into this life on September 18, 1952, in Grafton, WV., a son to the late Charles Mayle and Cora Mae (Collins) Mayle.
Scott was married twice, first to the former Sue Geer, who preceded him in death, and secondly on December 10, 2010, to the former Mildred Summerfield Mayle who survives at their home.
Surviving are his children, Sean Mayle, Jacqueline Frey, Kristen Frey, and Jason Summerfield. He and Mildred was also raising Aubri Summerfield, and Jazz Beverly, siblings, Shirlene Bulka, and husband Paul Bulka, Sheila Dalton, and husband Roger Dalton, Woody Mayle, and his wife Sherry Mayle, Synthia Miller, Lester Mayle, Steve Mayle, Stephanie Geer, Samantha Mayle, and Michelle Mayle-Barth, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen close nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Josephine Summerfield, many friends, including, Deanie Dalton, and Elliott Dalton.
Mr. Mayle was a heavy equipment operator for many years before becoming disabled, he loved spending time with his family especially playing with his grandchildren, and loved going to family reunions and fellowship, he loved going the river and fishing with his friends. Scott and his friends hosted weenie weekends periodically throughout the years. He is going to be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Mayle's wishes for cremation will be honored. A celebration of his life will be private. The Kittle Family Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., Philippi, is honored to be assisting the Mayle family with the arrangements.
