Shirley Kay Sandy Obituary
Shirley Kay Sandy, age 64, a resident of Philippi, WV, passed from this life on Friday November 18, 2022, at her home, her death was sudden and unexpected.
She was born on October 6, 1958, in Bridgeport, WV, a daughter to George Edward Sandy, and the late Erma (Hyde) Sandy.
She is survived by her best friend, and companion Delmas Mayle; a son; Matt Mayle; one daughter; Victoria Mayle; a stepson; Delmas Mayle II; grandchildren; Savannah Williams, Cheyanne Williams, and Dakota Williams; siblings; Dora Hart, and husband Mike Hart, Carol Hood, Dorothy Sandy, and companion Phil Hart, Glenda Snider, and husband George Snider; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her death are two brothers: Larry R. Sandy, and Gary L. Sandy.
Shirley loved her children, grandchildren, and her dogs with her whole heart. She loved to color, clean, cook, and to watch TV, her favorite show was The Days of Lives. She worked in the Dietary Department at Broaddus Hospital. Shirley was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will be received at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi on Monday November 21, 2022, from 5 pm until 8:00 pm. Honoring Shirley's wishes her remains will be cremated. Interment of her cremains will follow at later date. The Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi is honored to be assisting the Sandy and Mayle Families with the arrangements.
