Timothy Spotloe Sr. Obituary

Timothy W. Spotloe Sr., age 69, a resident of Philippi, WV., passed away on Thursday October 30, 2025, at the Rosewood Center in Grafton. He had been in his usual health; however, his passing was unexpected.

He was born on May 18, 1956, in Youngstown, OH., a son to the late Loyd Dale Spotloe and Catherine Louise (Breedlove) Spotloe.

Tim joined hands in marriage to the former Cindy Denise Simon who survives at their home.

Tim leaves behind a son; Timothy W. Spotloe, and lady friend, Crystal Johnson, a daughter; Amanda Nicole Martin, and husband Ian of Bowden, WV., a brother: Chris Spotloe of Buckhannon, two grandchildren; Anastaisa Martin, and Eric Martin, two sisters; Deborah Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC., and Cathy Grill of Buckhannon, WV. Also, several nieces and nephews, his many friends at the Baughman Towers.

Mr. Spotloe was preceded in death by a brother; Michael Spotloe.

He was Christian by faith, loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting, swimming, and water skiing was his enjoyments. Before becoming disabled Tim was a Rig Hand on the Drilling Rigs. He was a simple man, he enjoyed taking long rides with his beloved wife, Cindy. He brought quiet strength into the lives around him. He had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved, his spirit will continue to live on through the memories he created with his family and friends.
