Tracy Cottrell Obituary

Tracy L Cottrell, age 51, a resident of Philippi, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the J.W., Ruby Memorial Hospital. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on January 25, 1972, in Long Branch, New Jersey, a cherished daughter of Richard and Anna M. Halmuth of Philippi.

Tracy leaves behind three daughters, Kryhstal Collins, Lillian Cottrell, and Emily Cottrell; grandchildren, Kia Williams, Daniel Collins, Johnathan Alexander, Jayden Alexander, Josiah Alexander, Savannah Alexander, Wyatt Mayle, John Mayle, Rilley Cottrell, and Angel Cottrell; brothers, David Cotrell, and Jeremy Halmuth. Several nieces and nephews, and special niece, Christina Cotrell.

She was a CNA, worked for Good Samaritan Center in Belington, was a manager at Hardees of Philippi, before she became sick, she worked as shift supervisor of the Belington Sheetz. Tracy loved kids and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She loved cats, horror movies, and Looney Tunes.

Services for Tracy are private and according to her wishes, cremation is planned. Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave. Philippi, WV.
