He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarence Marshall and Cynthia Mae Larrison Marshall; his wife Glenda Joy Marshall; his son-in-law Chris Burnette; his brother James Junior Marshall; and his brother-in-law Clarence Whetsell.
He is survived by: his children, James Wesley Marshall (Donna) of Philippi and Shelley Burnette of Morgantown; his sisters, Shirley Smith of Morgantown and Marie Dee Whetsell of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Tiffany White of Morgantown, Jacob Burnette of Morgantown, Nick Marshall of Philippi, Samantha Marshall Philippi (Mikey Alth), Jama Roy (Zach) of Grafton and Zoe Marshall of Philippi; and his great grandchildren, J. J. White of Morgantown, Montana Marshall, Madeline Marshall, Parker Marshall, Emmitt Marshall, Khloe Alth and Jase Alth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
