He was predeceased by: his parents, William Povish (Vince) and Stella Povish (Turek); his wife Joyce Santee Povish; and his daughter Amy Shipley. He is survived by: his son Billy Povish of Oakland, MD; and his sisters, Suzanne (Donald Criss) and Christine (Randy Freeman). He is also survived by two granddaughters, and eight great-grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.
