She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Wilson and Willie Snow Bragg Adkins; her husband James Franklin Kirby, Sr.; her son Jesse Kirby; and her siblings, Luther Adkins and Sadie Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, James Franklin Kirby, Jr. (Candi) of Alderson, Bertha Erma Mann of Pickaway, Barbara Ellen Persinger (Jack) of Sinks Grove and W. Va; her brothers, Raymond E. Adkins (Ann) of Liberty and James J. Adkins (Myrna) of Alderson; her grandchildren, Misty Kirby, Jamie Barb, Briton Kirby, Chase Kirby, Paige Persinger and Jessica Carver; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Barb, Cherokee Barb, Chevelle Barb, Lucious Barb, Jasper Persinger, Amilah Carver, Bradley Carver, Ciara Harmon and Brianna Deskins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
