Mayo M. Lemons Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 31, 2022, at the age of 101, Mayo M. Lemons of Pickaway, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Adolphus and Edith Baker Martin; her husband Shelby Lee Lemons of Pickaway; and her siblings, Frances Pruitt of Chilhowie, VA, Bill Martin of Union and Grayden Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lee Lemons Walker (Clay) of Gainesville, FL and Gary Wayne Lemons (Betty) of Pickaway; her sister Jessie Martin DeBusk of Urbanna, VA; her grandson Michael Walker of Gainesville, FL; her stepgrandchildren, Michelle Miller, Tina Johnson (TJ Williams) of Pickaway and Tony Johnson (Jessica) of Lindside; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Haylee Miller, Hunter, Devin, Dylan, Ridge, Ryan Johnson, Kennedy, Grayson, Maci, Ava and Ellee Johnson; and her friend Hazel Shrader. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
They family humbly requests that those planning on attending the services to please consider wearing a mask due to the rise in covid-19 and flu cases.
