He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Clyde Starkey and Pearl Rebecca Malson Starkey; his siblings, Stan, Gary, Bob, Dean, Rob, Francis, Kenny, Willard, Phillip Starkey, Sharon Smith, Helen Anderson, Joyce Starkey and Genova Starkey; and his granddaughter Michaela Starkey.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Glasscock Starkey; his children, Timmy J. Starkey (Stacie) and Cindy Wade; his grandchildren, Morgan Bates (Dakota Howard), Drew Wade (Kendall) and Kiersten Wade (Derek Graham); his great grandchildren, Maria, Paxton, Berkley, Millie and Hollyn; and his sisters, Carol Starkey and Shirley Hobbs.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home (Morgan St, Pine Grove, WV 26419, USA). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
