He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Halsey and Lucy Halsey; and his sister Amanda Holding. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Halsey; his sons, Ray Halsey and Stephen Halsey; and his brother Cyril Halsey (Maxine). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rock View Pentecostal Tabernacle. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Palm Memorial Gardens (1951 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24860).
